2. Personalized Service - View the List Online
  • As an individual timeshare (vacation interval) owner, you're automatically a member of Platinum Interchange. You have the CHOICE to exchange with any exchange company!
  • Contact a Vacation Counselor directly by phone, email or complete a quick Online exchange request form. Our Vacation Counselors will provide individualized, prompt and quality service. Your Vacation Counselor will charge the applicable exchange and/or upgrade fees after your Week is obtained and confirmed by you. Also, your Vacation Counselor will provide you with a confirmation number and resort information. If we don’t have what you are searching for, we will offer practical suggestions of available alternative resorts and destinations. We will also attempt a search for your exchange request amongst our industry contacts and contact you when it's obtained. Please refer to the Special Request section below.
  • View the List (current inventory availability updated daily). Peruse at your leisure with family members or friends, for the destination of your choice! One exchange guest said, "The a...WAY List is one of the best inventions in timeshare in the past 5 years!"

3. Request First
  • Improve your chances by giving us plenty of time (eight to 12 months) to work on your request. Remember to be as flexible as possible. Try to have more than one desired travel date and to select a vacation destination rather than a specific resort property. This will improve our ability to fulfill your request.
  • Gives you the security of retaining your Week until you receive an exchange. You can request an exchange without having to deposit your Week or pay an upfront exchange search fee. No fees until we confirm your exchange. You don’t have to relinquish your Week or pay anything until we fulfill your exchange request.
  • Request Early!

4. Special Request
  • If the Week, resort or suite size you're searching for is not on our a...WAY List, please contact a Vacation Counselor and ask for a Special Request.
  • In order to make a Special Request, a valid credit card is required at the time of your initial Request. From that initial Special Request point, a Vacation Counselor will notify you within 14 days if the Week you are requesting is available or not. If the Week is available for that initial Special Request, you will be confirmed immediately and your credit card on file will be charged at that time, too. If the Week you are requesting is not available for that initial Special Request, your credit card on file will not be charged. At this point if your initial Special Request was unavailable, you then have the option to: 1) Be placed on our regular request list, or 2) Cancel the initial Special Request.

5. Deposit Last
  • Reserve your Week at your home resort. You may deposit your Week from a minimum of 60 days (domestic) or a minimum of 75 days (international) prior to check-in. Note: Deposit times vary depending upon your home resort and whether it is a domestic or international location. Please contact a Vacation Counselor for additional information.
  • If you opt to deposit your Week first, you have 2 years from the start date of your banked Week to withdraw an exchange. Note: Last minute deposits are at the sole discretion of Platinum Interchange to approve and accept. We reserve the exclusive right of refusal for last minute deposits. For further inquiries concerning last minute deposits, please contact a Vacation Counselor at the corporate office in Anaheim, CA.
  • Deposit your Week. After we provide the exchange Week that you requested, it is time to deposit your Week. Your Vacation Counselor will provide you with a verification deposit form and it is important you complete all applicable sections, sign and mail or fax the form back as soon as possible. Your home resort is also required to sign a form verifying you own at the particular resort you are depositing. We encourage you to facilitate the process by reminding your home resort to return the verification form back to us as soon as possible. Your reservation is not valid until your Week is verified and deposited with Platinum Interchange. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional information.

6. Upgrades
  • We allow the flexibility to upgrade your exchange to a larger suite size, travel during a Federal Holiday, utilizing a second weekend, upon availability, by paying an additional upgrade(s) fee. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional information. All information is subject to change and may vary per resort.

Partial Exchanges

Available at Tricom Management resorts ( www.tricommanagement.com) and select participating resorts only. Partial exchanges must be booked 60 days or less from arrival. Partial exchanges cannot be booked outside of the 60 day window. Each partial exchange has a fee depending upon the number of nights exchanged and upgrade fees apply, too. Only one weekend permitted and any remaining partial exchanges are Sunday though Thursday only. Certain other restrictions may apply.
